1.Nasi Lemak Warung Pak Hassan

You want a classic Nasi Lemak experience? Pak Hassan it is! The nasi lemak is ol’skool; rich in fresh coconut milk and pandan leaves aroma. The sambal is very sedap, thick, not too spicy and sweet – it balance out the rice perfectly. The Sambal Sotong and Ayam Masak Merah is a must if you want extra sides. Their soft Roti Canai comes with a free-flow of Kari Kaki Ayam. If you enjoy chicken feet, you’ll dig this light curry which Pak Hassan makes fresh all day, everyday. Best breakfast spot in the busy KL city!

The perfect Roti Canai has to be light, fluffy, easy to tear into and best dipped in a thich Dhall Curry. This is what you get at Valentines Roti. Since Valentine has perfected his Roti Canai, he has introduced to some of the best roti combinations and you must try them all; Roti Masala is filled with a layer of spicy & chunky almost mashed potato, the famous heart shape Roti Valentine is a secret blend of Sardine, vegetables and spices, then you have the Roti Tissue that literally melts in your mouth! 3. Brader John Burger

Nobody does Ramly Burger patty justice like Brader John. He has made a name for his signature black-pepper sauce, the way he grills his meat and the combination of fresh condiments that elevates the taste of a regular burger into a piece of art for your hungry tummy. Go for the Master Burger which comes with double patties (chicken/beef), double cheese, wrapped in egg and top with fresh julienne-cut carrot, cucumber, onion, cabbage, a dollop of mayo and his secret black sauce, and sandwiched between two nicely toasted buns. So fulfilling! Queue here can get nuts, so pre-order and just come and pick up from his truck!

4. Satay Willy

The name apparently came from the owner who said that his Satay is so good, it’ll get your willy up! Haha with 30 years of experience, no wonder his confident level is off the roof and mannnnn his Satays are good! The best is the Chicken and Beef, they’re juicy and charred to perfection giving you that caramelized bbq taste that will… eventually get your willy up! The kuah kacang (peanut sauce) is also healthy with no additional oil, to bring out the natural nutty flavour from a whole day of simmering! That’s perfection right there.

5. Lim Fried Chicken

The best part for a good juicy piece of fried chicken is the thigh and that’s all you’ll get at Restoran Lim Fried Chicken. The thighs are marinated and massaged in a secret blend of brine and batter to ensure you a crispy outer layer and a juicy, easy to chew meat on the inside. It’s so good you’ll be addicted to it in no time! We recommend it with a warm plate of their silky homemade Chee Cheong Fun and topped with the thick and velvety Mutton curry gravy. Yes! The mutton curry is so good, they use it to serve all their main meals. If you like mutton, ask for the meat on the side; it melts in your mouth yo! Oh this is a Muslim-Friendly restaurant and they have three branches now, one in SS15, another two in SS2 and Glenmarie.

6. Sri Ganapathy Mess

Banana Leaf Rice is one of the best meal to have with a group of your favourite people and we guarantee you’ll enjoy the array of spicy indian food at Sri Ganapathy Mess. The Ketam Curry, Kambing Goreng and Ketam Rassam are to die for! Go for the Indian Rice, it’s less starchy and end your meal with a hot cup of Bru Coffee with Susu Lembu, memang terbaik! Oh and if you love some tenggiri goreng, this

7. Karipap Uncle Yeong

Uncle Yeong starts off his day by 3am to make fresh handmade Karipap, daily. Famous for his Karipap Telur, so sedap kalah Ikea – which btw he inherited the recipe from his Mother whos been making it since 1975. Then there’s the soft spongy like Kaya & Red Bean puffs, and the newly added Fish Fillet Puff, that’s deep fried fresh fish fillet with thick mayo. Memang layan habis, so make sure you try this legendary KL Karipap today!

Nothing beats a good ol’ street style biryani and Tajuddin can hook you up with that flavour! Fluffy and light biryani rice, topped with “semua tarok” thick, sweet & spicy curry, juicy & crispy indian fried chicken, a whole boiled egg and their secret kuah merah! On work days, memang confirm tido after a plate of Tajudin’s, so end your meal with some kopi tarik lah ye. Oh also go for their Ayam Madu, it’s black, sweet and spicy and it’s really sedap!

9. Tandoori Hut (Uncle Aru Tandoori & Naan)

This is the best place for soft puffy naan and a juicy tandoori! Uncle Aru has mastered the art of naan & tandoori in the 80’s from a well known indian chef way back then. His tiny stall remains the same but now has been taken over by his son, Ravi and is officially called Tandoori Hut now. Their Spinach kuah is sooo good and goes well with all the naans’ although our fav is still the cheese + garlic + butter naan! Ask for Sardine Curry, Ravi’s mom makes a really good one but they’re not available all the time. Hands down the best place for juicy grilled meat and melt-in-your-mouth naans!
