P. K. Abdullah started the business more than 50 years ago, right in the heart of Kampung Pandan. Now run by his children, it has become Ampang’s best kept secret. It’s just a simple warong that serves good ol’ Roti Canai and they’re darn good at it.
Their secret is… they don’t put any Planta or butter in their Roti Canai dough! Apparently that makes the roti’s as soft as cloud, even when it’s cold. You can literally eat it on it’s own, this one!
The go to roti here is the famous Roti Canai Telur Goyang. Yes, that’s right boys and girls – TELUR GOYANG! One hot & gooey half-boil egg on a crispy & fluffy Roti Canai… sampai termimpi-mimpi when you take your first bite! Now that’s what I call a breakfast of champions.
Another famous roti that you should try is the Roti Telur Bawang, where their version is a bit thicker and slightly dense. Macam murtabak pun ada. Each bite you’ll get an explosion of sweet little red onion bombs and it works really well with the fluffiness of the telur inside the hot roti. That’s it ya’ll, start your day with any one of this roti and a side of their kaw-kaw kopi tarik and you’ll be in haven! Just make sure you come before 9am lah, or else memang disappointed habis.
