Satay Capitol opened shop in Kg. Baru about two years ago but they have been around since 1951. They serve up satisfying satay with a good marination.
” Tender and tasty satay ”
Satay Capitol has been serving up happy meat-on-sticks since 1951 and have become something of a go to place for good and consistent satay.
Founded by Hj. Kamarudin, they started up in Japan Tunku Abdul Rahman, a stone’s throw from their branch in Kg. Baru.
What’s good about their satay here is a good marination process that renders its satay tender and tasty.
When they fire up the tepak and the smell of serai, sugars and rempah wafts up, it is enough to make your stomach growl painfully. Isn’t the smell of grilled meats one of the most primal scents known to man?
Chicken satay here is soft, a good medium size and alarmingly easy to eat! The beef satay is a bit on the sweet side and a little chewy. The kuah kacang is not very thick but with good flavour to accompany the satay. Yeah!
They are quite popular with tourists as well. Locals might want it a bit spicier but in general this is a good satay to bring your guests to. Plus, In Kg. Baru you can enjoy your satay with stunning views of KLCC. Kinda romantic right?
Satay Capitol: good marination, tasty satay!
